Keyboard Shortcuts

Map Your Store supports keyboard shortcuts for faster navigation and map editing on the desktop web app. On mobile devices, use touch gestures instead.

Map Editor

Shortcut	Action
D	Enter Draw mode -- start drawing aisles, entrances, or checkout areas
S	Enter Select mode -- click to select and move existing features
Delete / Backspace	Delete the currently selected feature
Ctrl + Z	Undo the last drawing action
Ctrl + Shift + Z	Redo a previously undone action
Click + Drag	Pan the map
Scroll wheel	Zoom in or out
Escape	Cancel the current drawing or deselect

General Navigation

Shortcut	Action
Ctrl + K or /	Open the search bar
T	Toggle between light and dark mode
L	Open your shopping list
Escape	Close the current dialog or panel

Tips

• Shortcuts are disabled when you are typing in a text field, so pressing / in a search box types the character normally.
• On macOS, use Cmd in place of Ctrl (for example, Cmd + Z to undo).
• If you prefer to use the mouse for everything, all shortcut actions are also available through toolbar buttons and menus.
